When it comes to video poker websites and video poker directories, you have to be careful you haven't just found a website that's full of nothing but ads for online casinos. I'm not saying that ads for online casinos are bad, but when they become the main focus of a website, then something is wrong. The results in Google for a "video poker" search are sometimes dreadfully full of spam, so I've created a hand-edited video poker site directory to help you find high quality information about video poker. It's only fair to note that the 1st couple of sites on the list are websites I'm associated with. Video Poker Sites I've Helped WithVideo Poker 365 - My "authoritative" video poker website. Video Poker Daddy - Video poker online is the focus of this site, which I helped create. High quality content aimed at online players, with a reasonable advertising to content ratio. Video Poker Talk - A forum for video poker lovers. Not currently very active, but if you want to help, then go over there and start a thread or two. Video Poker Hero - A video poker website I started but did a lot of the wrong things with. Most of it is pretty well-written and reasonably good info, but the site isn't finished and might not ever be finished. Video Poker Genius - I've had minimal involvement with this website, but I did give the owner some advice about his site design and how to present his content. The best thing about his site is the large amount of content he makes available. More Video Poker WebsitesVideo Poker Heaven - Archives of articles written by Lenny Frome and Elliot Frome. These guys were some of the biggest names in gambling analysis as it relates to video poker. While the website design on these pages is old-school and plain, the content is pure gold if you're interested in video poker. Jazbo - Tons of information about video poker written by a real enthusiast. Regularly updated and not covered in online casino advertising. Jeff Lotspiech - Another "for real" fan of video poker. Lots of video poker websites are just excuses to get you to play at an online casino, but sites like Lotspiech's and Jazbo's are truly helpful resources. Tunica Video Poker - I'm not sure why someone hasn't designed a site about local video poker for every gambling destination yet, but this one is solid. This site is a real treat since it's not just another banner farm. Video Poker 247 - Another really high quality video poker site. While they do have some advertising for online casinos, it would be hard to think of the small amount of advertising there to be excessive. What is perhaps most impressive is the large amount of good quality information available here. Video Poker Advisor - A beautifully designed, austere, minimalist site without a lot of advertising. For beginners mostly, but useful as can be. Video Poker Help - Lots of numbers and datas, not lots of advertising. A winning combination, IMO. Video Poker Info - The design of this website is really pretty and it's easy to understand where to find what you're looking for here. Video Poker Review can probably help you find a decent place to play video poker. Video Poker Tools - Another cool site that looks closely at the math involved with video poker games. vpFREE - A VERY active discussion group on Yahoo Groups that talks about video poker. Some of the big names in video poker, like Jean Scott and Bob Dancer, frequent and post in this group. Online Blackjack Hero Home |
